AB El autor describe la estrecha relación existente entre Derechos Humanos y medios de comunicación en el sistema de Naciones Unidas, tanto en el ámbito jurídico como en el plano educativo. Esta descripción sirve para reflexionar sobre el papel de los medios de comunicación en el fomento de la paz y la comprensión internacional; así como para presentar, a grandes rasgos, algunos de los desafíos actuales para el ejercicio de los Derechos Humanos en un contexto internacional de mundialización económica.
AB The author describes the narrow relation that exists between Human Rights and the media in the system of United Nations, in the legal field as well as in the educational field. This description is useful for thinking about the role of the media in the development of peace and the international understanding; as well as for presenting, in broad strokes, some of the current challenges for the exercise of the Human Rights in an international context of economic globalization.
