AB La proclamación de la II República,recibida con ilusión en muchos sectores,auspiciaba una etapa de cambios y progresosocial. Sin embargo, en poco tiempo seríannotorias las manifestaciones de oposicióna las medidas del nuevo gobierno,manifestaciones que en ocasiones tenían unmarcado carácter violento. Especialmenteante las medidas legislativas que incidían enel ámbito eclesiástico, como la disoluciónde la Compañía de Jesús o la Ley deConfesiones y Congregaciones Religiosas.El artículo estudia cómo la violencia políticavivida en estos años afecta y condicionaen diversos aspectos el mundo educativovallisoletano, caracterizado por unasculturas escolares de carácter conservador
AB The proclamation of the SecondSpanish Republic, which was welcomedenthusiastically in many sectors, usheredin a period of social progress and change.Nevertheless, opposition to the newgovernment would not take long tomanifest itself, sometimes in a remarkablyviolent fashion. This was especially so whenfaced with the new legislative measures thataffected the Church, such as the dissolutionof the Society of Jesus or the Law ofReligious Confessions and Congregations.In this research paper we will study theextent to which the political violenceexperienced throughout these years hada severe impact on the educational sectorin Valladolid, which was characterized bymarkedly conservative academic cultures
