Parte II T1 Geochemical trends and luminescence in Crassostrea sp. (chambers and shell) of the Zufia Formation, Navarra(Upper Albian-Lower Cenomanian). Part II A1 Higuera Ruiz, R. A1 Elorza, Javier AB Shells of the oyster Crassostrea sp. from the Zufia Formation show chambers filled with different diageneticcarbonates that record a complex diagenetic history. Evidences of «burial» diagenesis, represented by theformation of ferrous «saddle» dolomite, suggest high formation temperatures. However, the absence ofdissolution/recrystallization features in the Regular Foliated microstructure (RF) indicates its remarkableresistance to diagenetic alteration. Avoiding the camouflage of diagenetic signals, such microstructure istherefore the propitious one to undertake geochemical studies when searching for environmental information. After the «burial» diagenesis stage, an «uplift» process was experienced, characterized by the influence ofmore aggressive, meteoric fluids with lower Fe and Mn concentrations. As a consequence, pressure-solutiontextures were developed in the contact Ds and RF. Likewise, a dedolomitization process, progressing fromthe walls of the cameras to the center, originated the calcitic late digenetic stages C1, C2 and C3 YR 2006 FD 2006 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8616 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8616 LA spa DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Huelva RD 1 jun 2026
