AB En este trabajo presentamos un estado de lacuestión de los restos de tejidos encontrados en lapenínsula ibérica entre el siglo I y III d.C. Los textilesson vestigios materiales de indudable complejidady una magnifica fuente para conocer la identidadsocial. Sin embargo, durante mucho tiempo,su carácter efímero ha hecho que en época romanasea un campo de estudio sin explorar.Gracias al desarrollo de una metodología analíticay a la aportación de la Arqueología, el estudiode los textiles está cada vez más presente. Sin duda,es necesario revisar en que punto nos encontramosy reflexionar entorno a nuevas estrategias para suanálisis. Consecuentemente, este trabajo pretenderecoger todos los restos arqueológicos de tejidos deHispania, analizarlos y mostrar el potencial de estudiode la Arqueología Textil romana. Con ello,esperamos visibilizar y reivindicar la importanciade las evidencias textiles y con ellas, el estudio de laArqueología Efímera en la Antigüedad
AB In this project we present the state of questionregarding the archaeological remains of textiles inthe Iberian Peninsula between the 1st and 3rd centuryAC. The textiles are material vestiges of undeniablecomplexity and a magnificent source forinvestigating social identity. However, for a longtime, its ephemeral nature has made them an unexploredresearch path during Roman times.Thanks to the development of an analyticalmethodology and to the contribution of Archaeology,the study of textiles is gaining recognitionand awareness. Consequently, our investigationaims to gather all the remains of archaeologicaltextiles in Hispania, to analyze the evidence, andto showcase the potential of research for RomanTextile Archaeology. As a result, we hope to visualizeand reinforce the relevance of textile vestigesin the Roman Hispania and in doing so, the studyof Ephemeral Archaeology in Antiquity
