Soninstrumentos de la lingüística aplicada que ayudana comprender mejor la ciudad. ¿Refleja elpaisaje lingüístico de Cádiz a través de lenguasdistintas al español los principales procesos queafectan al centro histórico?, ¿se derivan del análisisde este paisaje los principales problemasque afectan a los habitantes tradicionales de estaparte de la ciudad?, ¿se puede apuntar a qué políticaspúblicas hay que acudir para la soluciónde estos problemas? Los objetivos de esta investigaciónson determinar los paisajes lingüísticosque denotan el centro histórico de Cádiz; explicarcómo se concretan en la imagen de la ciudad;establecer a qué causas responden y ofrecer unprimer diagnóstico y propuestas para atajar dichosproblemas atendiendo a su diversidad
AB Linguistic landscapes have great capacityto express urban processes. They are instrumentsof applied linguistics that help to betterunderstand the city. Does the linguistic landscapeof Cadiz reflect, through languages otherthan Spanish, the main processes affecting thehistoric centre?; are the main problems affectingthe traditional inhabitants of this part of thecity derived from the analysis of this landscape?;can we point to the public policies that shouldbe aimed at solving these problems? The aimsof the research are to determine the linguisticlandscapes that make up the historic centre ofCádiz; to explain how they are expressed in theimage of the city; to describe what causes theyrespond to; and to offer an initial diagnosis andproposals for tackling these problems, takinginto account their diversity
