RT Journal Article T1 An App about Healthy Habits as an Educational Resource during the Pandemic A1 Merino Godoy, María Ángeles A1 Moreno Sánchez, Emilia A1 Gago Valiente, Francisco Javier A1 Costa, Emília Isabel A1 Sáez Padilla, Jesús AB Educational institutions and their agents play a fundamental role in improving people’shealth literacy and quality of life. We intend here to describe and justify an educational resourceembodied in an application for mobile devices developed through a subsidized project by the Ministryof Health (Government of Andalusia); the purpose of this app is to educate young people in healthyhabits. The application was designed to be easily used in both smartphones and tablets with the aimof achieving good physical, psychological and social health. The project comprises several phases andthe results we have so far show that, from an early age, health institutions and educational settingsmust work in partnership, increasing health literacy levels. This cooperative work combined with theuse of this innovative approach presents an important potential for change in the lifestyles of youngergenerations. This type of intervention took on a special role in the pandemic context, allowing for themaintenance of the educational stimulus in a safe context PB MDPI SN 2227-9032 (electrónico) YR 2022 FD 2022 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/20753 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/20753 LA eng NO Merino-Godoy, M. de los Á., Moreno-Sánchez, E., Gago-Valiente, F.-J., Costa, E.
