AB The Oued Laou alluvial aquifer is one of the most important groundwater bodies in the northwest ofMorocco. However, during the last few years this aquifer has been threatened by several pollution sourcesthat have increasingly proliferated in the area due to the lack of any environmental protection plan,especially those concerning water resources. The main contribution of the present study is the preparationof a vulnerability map that had not previously been established for the Oued Laou aquifer. It represents abase document which the water resource managers could use as a helpful tool for decision-making processes
