T1 Dos siglos de estudios sobre los Ponce de León : historiografía de un linaje medieval

AB Durante la baja Edad Media, los Ponce de León constituyeron uno de los principales linajes nobiliarios de Andalucía. Este artículo presenta un balance bibliográfico que permitirá observar cómo se ha construido el conocimiento histórico del linaje a lo largo de los dos últimos siglos. Analizamos las distintas aportaciones agrupándolas temáticamente: desde la genealogía o la actuación política y militar hasta las relaciones económicas. La religiosidad, el mecenazgo artístico o la historiografía nobiliaria. Señalamos además algunas cuestiones pendientes de estudio, que podrán suscitar futuras líneas de investigación.
AB In the Late Middle-Ages, the Ponce de León were one of the main noble families in Andalusia. In this article we present a bibliographic survey which shows how information on the history of their lineage has been gathered over the last two centuries. We analyse the different studies, grouping them according to content: genealogy, political andniilitary roles, economic relationships, religiosity, artistic patronage, andhistoriography of the nobility. In addition, we indicate certain issues, the study of which, we believe, could lead to new unes of research.
