RT Journal Article T1 Evolución hidrogeoquímica en las salinas de Cerrillos (Almería) y la relación entre aguas subterráneas y salmueras T1 Hydrogeochemical processes in the Cerillos saltworks (Almería) and relationship between groundwater and brines A1 Sánchez Martos, Francisco A1 Molina, Luis A1 Vallejos, Ángela AB The saltworks of Cerrillos are located in the sea coast. The origin of these waters is essentially marine, but the influence of the groundwater discharge could be significant. The chemical diversity of the water increases by the location of small lakes of human origin developed by mining extraction of gravel in the zone between the salt ponds and the sea coast. Theses lakes show low salinity sometimes less than salt ponds. Their origin and special hydrochemistry could be related to the direct rain recharge over these endorreic basins and the deep groundwater recharge through the faults affecting the aquifer PB Sociedad Geológica de España YR 2000 FD 2000 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/9787 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/9787 LA spa DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Huelva RD 31 may 2026
