AB The Cobatillas alluvia/ system consists of two short superposed fans. The upper one shows wet fan facies within a semiarid climatic context. This is due both to the sediment source size, which is situated at the back of the obligue ramp of the Muela de Montalbán thrust sheet, and to the basin southern margin subsidence originated by the thrust in such margin
AB El Sistema aluvial de Cobatillas consiste de dos abanicos superpuestos. El superior muestra facies de abanico aluvial húmedo en un contexto semiárido. Esto se debe tanto al tamaño de la fuente de sedimentos, situada en la espalda de la rampa oblicua de la lámina de cabalgamiento de la Muela de Montalbán, y al hundimiento del margen sur de la cuenca originado por el cabalgamiento en dicho margen.
