A1 Fernández Suárez, Javier AB Detrital minerals provenance studies have become a common tool to decipher paleogeographic scenarios inmany orogenic belts. Together with the geochronological single mineral dating, the geochemistry of detritalminerals can provide insights on the source rocks of the studied detrital minerals. In this paper we study thechemistry of the detrital micas from two samples of Ediacaran and Cambrian age. The obtained results providean almost identical chemical signature for the studied detrital white micas in both samples. The fengitic vectorconditions the Fe+Mg proportion with some influence of the ferrimuscovitic vector mainly in the cambriansample. The results point towards an origin of the sediments from LP igneous or metamorphic source rocks YR 2006 FD 2006 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8605 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/8605 LA spa DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Huelva RD 30 may 2026
