The upper Sabihinigo sandstone, storm and tidal influenced, enhaces the shelf margin systems tract, being conformable to the West and unconformable to the East due to a tectonic relief developed by the Bini4s thrust. The transgressive systems tract is the conformable lowermost part of the Pamplona offshore marls that are onlapping to the east the lo w er and m iddle Sabifidnigo Sandstone.
