T1 Stratigraphy of the Santa Orosia fan delta (middle and upper Eocene, Jaca Basin Huesca prov. Spain)

AB The study of the Santa Orosia fan delta north of the Basa anticline (Jaca Basin, Southern Pyrenees) has described the type 2 Jaca-6 sequence. The upper Sabihinigo sandstone, storm and tidal influenced, enhaces the shelf margin systems tract, being conformable to the West and unconformable to the East due to a tectonic relief developed by the Bini4s thrust. The transgressive systems tract is the conformable lowermost part of the Pamplona offshore marls that are onlapping to the east the lo w er and m iddle Sabifidnigo Sandstone. The highstand systems tract are the rest o f the offshore Pamplona marls gradding to mouth bars sandstones and this to alluvial conglomerate deposits capped by the erosional surface of the Jaca complex unconformity top
