AB En este trabajo se aportan nuevos datos sobre el balance hídrico delacuífero detrítico de La Vega de Granada a partir de los resultados obtenidoscon la realización de un modelo de flujo en dos dimensiones y en régimentransitorio. El modelo ha sido calibrado y validado satisfactoriamente yarroja unos valores de recursos medios anuales de 132 hm3, cifra que quedapor debajo de la propuesta por otros autores. Asimismo, se observa una tendenciadescendente durante los últimos 50 años en los aportes al acuíferojustificada por la menor recarga que se produce a partir del retorno de riegosdebido a la sustitución de los campos de cultivo por zonas urbanizadas.La explotación del acuífero mediante bombeos no refleja, sin embargo, unatendencia paralela en este mismo periodo de tiempo
AB In this paper new data about the water budget in the detrital aquifer ofLa Vega de Granada are presented based on the results of a 2D transientflow model. The model has been calibrated and validated successfully. Thewater budget obtained presents 132 Mm3 as annual resources that are lowerthan the results obtained in previous studies. Furthermore, during the last 50years a decreasing trend in the inputs to the aquifer is detected that is relatedto a decrease in the recharge due to the land use change from cropsto urban areas. Nevertheless the pumping in the aquifer is not changing duringthe same period of time
