T1 Analysis of relations between motivational climates and basic psychologicalneeds in physical education

AB El objetivo del trabajo fue comprobar la relación existenteentre los diferentes climas motivacionales transmitidos por el profesor deeducación física y las necesidades psicológicas del alumnado deeducación física. Además, también se analizó la relación entre losclimas motivacionales y la necesidad psicológica básica de novedad.Para ello se empleó una muestra de 50 estudiantes correspondientes alnivel de sexto de Educación Primaria a los que se les pasaron la Escalade las Necesidades Psicológicas Básicas (BPNES) y el Cuestionario deMedida de las Estrategias Motivacionales en las clases de EducaciónFísica (CMEMEF). Los resultados mostraron la importancia de llevar acabo un clima motivacional que implique a la tarea, ya que este climatiene una relación positiva con las necesidades psicológicas básicas,permitiendo su satisfacción. Este estudio encontró que la necesidad denovedad tiene una relación positiva con el clima tarea y con las demásnecesidades psicológicas básicas
AB The objective of this work was to verify the relations between thedifferent motivational climates transmitted by the physical education teacherand the psychological needs of the students of physical education. Moreover,the relationship between the motivational climates and the basicpsychological need novelty was analyzed. A sample of 50 studentscorresponding to the sixth level of Primary Education was used for that purpose.The Basic Psychological Needs Scale (BPNES) and the MeasurementQuestionnaire of Motivational Strategies in Physical Education classes (CMEMEF)were used. The results showed the importance of carrying out a task-involvingmotivational climate, since this climate has a positive relation with the basicpsychological needs, allowing its satisfaction. In addition, this study showed thatthe basic need for novelty has a positive relation with the task climate and withother basic psychological needs
