AB La cooperación entre cooperativas es un principio cuya dimensión internacional cobra fuerzaen el contexto económico actual, como lo es, en general, el fenómeno de la cooperaciónempresarial.En el caso de las regiones fronterizas de la Unión Europea, esta cooperación se ve estimuladapor la IniciativaInterreg, en cuyo marco la Federación Andaluza de Empresas CooperativasAgrarias (FAECA) ha llevado a cabo, y proyecta, acciones de cooperación con Portugal,concretamente con las regiones del Algarve y del Alentejo, que son expuestas en este trabajo
AB The cooperation among cooperatives is a principle whose international dimension is gatheringstrength in the current economic context, the same as, in general, the phenomenon ofcooperation among companies.In the case of European Union frontier regions, this cooperation is being stimulated throughInterreg Initiative. In this framework, FAECA (Andalusian Federation of AgrarianCooperatives Societies) has carried out , and is proposing, some cooperation actions withPortugal, particularly with theAlgarve and Alentejo regions. These actions are explained inthis paper.
