T1 Turbiditas oolíticas cretácicas al norte de Vélez Blanco (Subbético interno, provincia de Almería)

AB In the Internal Subbetic Middle and Upper Cretaceous oolite turbidites occur. Two main type of facies are present: 1) Conglomeratic beds (A2 facies) composed of clasicts of very different lithologies and ages, and 2) Oolit beds (B2 facies) which cap the conglomeratic facies and also occur as individual beds. The presence of some microfossils lets identify the Dogger oolitic limestones as the main source of the oolites. Some areas, as Sa Larga, where just the oolitic limestones are absent, are considered as probable source areas. Present fault scarps boundering such kind of areas could be ancient faults in favour of which the Dogger limestones occurred in the basin floor
AB Se dan turbiditas oolitas en el Cretácico Medio y Superior en el interior Subbético. Se presentan dos facies principales: 1) Capas conglomeradas (facies A2) compuestas por diferentes litologías y edades, y 2) Capas oolíticas (facies B2) que limitan las facies conglomeradas, y también se dan como capas individuales. La presencia de algunos microfósiles permite identificar las calizas oolíticas del Dogger como la fuente principal oolítica. Algunas áreas, como Sª Larga, donde no se encuentran calizas oolíticas, se consideran áreas de posible origen. Los saltos de falla que limitan estas áreas pudieran ser antiguas fallas a favor de las cuales se produjeron calizas del Dogger en el fondo de la cuenca.
