T1 Los museos de arte contemporáneo en el paisaje urbano de la ciudad de Cuenca

AB El artículo se estructura en dos partesbien diferenciadas. En una primera seaborda el análisis del paisaje urbano, laevolución geológica, histórica y urbana de laciudad antigua, así como las característicastipológicas de sus edificaciones y distintasperspectivas del Casco Histórico. Y en unasegunda parte se presentan tres edificioshistóricos infrautilizados que fueron objetode una rehabilitación con cambio de usopara instalar en ellos diversas coleccionesde arte contemporáneo: Museo de ArteAbstracto Español, Fundación AntonioPérez y Espacio Torner, edificios que se hanconvertido en hitos del paisaje urbano y eniconos culturales al ser puntos de referenciapara los flujos turísticos de los viajeros quevisitan Cuenca
AB The article is structured in two welldifferentiated parts. The first part deals withthe analysis of the urban landscape, thegeological, historical and urban evolutionof the old city, as well as the typologicalcharacteristics of its buildings and differentperspectives of the historic center. Thesecond part presents three underutilizedhistorical buildings that underwent arehabilitation to change their use to installvarious collections of contemporary artin them: Museum of Spanish AbstractArt, the Antonio Pérez Foundation andthe Torner Space. These buildings havebecome landmarks of the urban landscapeand cultural icons as points of reference fortourist flows of travelers visiting Cuenca
