T1 Remarks from tourism planning and sustainable tourism - A bibliometris study

AB Tourism is emphasized as one of the sectors with the greatest potentialfor expansion on a global scale; therefore, it is important to understandrelated factors regarding tourism planning and sustainability. The maincontribution of this study is to identify research trends linked to thekeywords, respective gaps and specific needs for future scientificresearch within the research field of tourism planning and sustainabledevelopment. Using VOSviewer Software and applying bibliometrictechniques, visualization maps of the intellectual structure were createdfor a systematic review of the literature. The number of articles publishedand the number of annual citations for the period 1997 to 2017 of theWeb of Science database were used for this purpose. The results drawattention to multiple research clusters focused on the intellectualstructure of tourism planning and sustainable development
AB El turismo es enfatizado como uno de los sectores con mayor potencial de expansión a escala global, por tanto, es importante entender los factores relacionados sobre la planificación turística y la sostenibilidad. La contribución principal de este estudio es identificar las tendencias de investigaciones vinculadas a las palabras clave, las respectivas lagunas y las necesidades específicas para investigaciones científicas futuras dentro del campo de investigación de la planificación turística y el desarrollo sostenible. Usando VOSviewer Software y aplicando técnicas bibliométricas, fueron creados mapas de visualización de la estructura intelectual para una revisión sistemática de la información. El número de artículos publicados y el número de citaciones anuales para el periodo que va de 1997 a 2017 de la web de ciencias se usaron para este propósito. Los resultados subrayan las múltiples agrupaciones de investigación centradas en la estructura intelectual de la planificación turística y el desarrollo sostenible.
