T1 Mulheres a procurar Justiça no Tribunal da Relação Eclesiástica de Braga (século XVIII)

AB Neste trabalho analisamos fontes doTribunal Eclesiástico de Braga possibilitando-nos conhecer as dinâmicas femininasnesta instituição da Igreja Católica ao longode setecentos. Para maior esclarecimento,dividimos os processos analisados em doisgrupos: um referente a processos movidoscontra mulheres que viviam em clausura eoutro por incumprimento do voto de Santiago.Estamos, por conseguinte, perantemulheres diferentes e com causas tambémdistintas. Todas eram acusadas de incumprimento,no primeiro caso violando leisimportas à instituição e às religiosas e nosegundo devido ao não pagamento do votode Santiago. Neste percurso foi possívelconhecer o funcionamento da instituição eas mudanças que conheceu, mas tambémpenas atribuídas.
AB In this work we analyze sources ofthe Ecclesiastical Court of Braga allowingus to know the feminine dynamics inthis institution of the Catholic Churchthroughout the seventeenth century.For further clarification, we divided theprocesses analyzed into two groups: onereferring to processes brought againstwomen who lived in confinement andanother for non-compliance with thevow of Santiago. We are, therefore, facingdifferent women and also different causes.All were accused of non-compliance, inthe first case violating laws important tothe institution and the nuns and in thesecond due to non-payment of the vowof Santiago. In this journey it was possibleto know the functioning of the institutionand the changes it has undergone, but alsopenalties assigned.
