T2 Determinants of telework and gender gap

AB El objetivo de este estudio es ampliar el conocimiento sobre los factoresque condicionan el teletrabajo en España, para los años 2018 y 2021,identificando sus elementos determinantes, con especial atención a la posibleexistencia de una brecha de género. Los resultados muestran que, tras lageneralización de esta herramienta en 2021 por el impacto de la pandemia,la probabilidad de las mujeres de teletrabajar superó a la de los hombres.Variables como la edad, el nivel educativo o las habilidades digitales, entreotras, muestran también su influencia en la adopción del teletrabajo. Además,las estimaciones separadas por género presentan diferencias significativas enalgunos de sus determinantes
AB The aim of this study is to expand knowledge about the factors that influencetelework in Spain for the years 2018 and 2021, identifying its determiningelements with special attention to the possible existence of a gender gap.The results show that, following the widespread adoption of this tool in 2021due to the impact of the pandemic, the previous predominance of men in theuse of telework shifted, with women becoming more likely to use teleworking.Variables such as age, educational level or digital skills, among others, alsoshow their influence on the adoption of teleworking. Additionally, separateestimates by gender reveal significant differences in some of its determinants
