AB En los últimos años ha surgido un especial interés pordesarrollar una teoría de conocimientos relativa a laenseñanza de los deportes. En este sentido, destaca elmodelo de enseñanza comprensiva del deporte o TeachingGames for Understanding Model y sus variantes.Este enfoque ha sido relacionado con las teorías delaprendizaje cognitivo y constructivista y con el aprendizajesituado, y es considerado innovador en la enseñanzade los deportes. El objetivo de este trabajo fuedescribir y analizar las bases sobre las que se sustentala enseñanza comprensiva del deporte, para lo cual serealizó una revisión bibliográfica sistemática. Los datosindicaron que el enfoque comprensivo se basa, fundamentalmente,en premisas relacionadas con las teoríasdel aprendizaje cognitivo, constructivista y aprendizajesituado. En este sentido, destacan algunos elementosque hacen referencia al deporte como contenido deenseñanza (juegos modificados, enseñanza contextualizada,transferencia del aprendizaje y enseñanza técnico-táctica); al alumno/jugador (centrado en el alumno/jugador, ideas previas y motivación); y al profesor/entrenador(papel del profesor/entrenador, progresión enla enseñanza, resolución de problemas y conocimientode resultados interrogativo).
AB In recent years a special interest in developing atheory of knowledge related to the teaching of sportshas emerged. The comprehensive model of sportteaching or Teaching Games for Understanding Modeland its variants have stood out. This focus is related tocognitive and constructivist theories of learning and tosituated learning, and it is considered to be innovativein the teaching of sport. The objective of this workwas to describe and analyse the basis on which thecomprehensive teaching of sport is built, and, toachieve this, a systematic revision of the bibliographywas carried out. Data indicated that the comprehensivefocus is based, fundamentally, on premises related tothe theories of cognitive, constructivist and situatedlearning. In this sense, some elements stand out. Theymake a reference to sport as teaching content (gamesmodified, contextualized teaching, transfer of learningand technical-tactical teaching); to the student/player(learner/player-centred, existing knowledge andmotivation); and to the teacher/coach (role of theteacher/coach, progressive teaching, problem-solvingand questioning).
