T1 The effect of experience and clinical supervision ontherapeutic success at the University Clinic of theAutonomous University of Madrid

AB El objetivo de esta investigación es estudiar elefecto de la experiencia y la supervisión clínica sobreel éxito terapéutico. El estudio se desarrolla dentrodel programa de formación impartido en la ClínicaUniversitaria CPA-UAM. El fin último es establecerunos criterios de entrenamiento en la capacitaciónprofesional basados en la evidencia empírica. El programade formación consta de cuatro años en el quelos terapeutas realizan práctica clínica bajo la supervisiónde terapeutas con mayor experiencia y pericia. Seestudia cómo influye el año de formación en el que seencuentre el/la terapeuta sobre el éxito terapéuticode su paciente con diferentes variables. Los resultadosmuestran que no existen diferencias entre los terapeutasen cuanto a su efectividad, todos mantienenuna tasa de éxito similar. No obstante, se encuentrandiferencias entre la eficiencia, es decir, el tiempo quese necesita para alcanzar el cumplimiento de los objetivos
AB The aim of this research is to study the effect ofexperience and clinical supervision on therapeuticsuccess. The study is developed within the trainingprogram offered at the University Clinic of Psychologyof the Autonomous University of Madrid (CPA-UAM).The final aim is to establish training criteria in professionaltraining based on empirical evidence. At CPAUAMthere is a four-year training program in whichtherapists perform clinical practice under the supervisionof more experienced and skilled therapists. Westudy with multiple variables how the training yearof the therapist influences the therapeutic success ofhis/her patient. Results show that there are no differencesbetween therapists in terms of their effectiveness,they all maintain a similar success rate. However,there are differences between the efficiency, that is, inthe time needed to achieve the objectives
