RT Conference Proceedings T1 Instantaneous Reactive Power Theory to N Wire Systems A1 Sánchez Herrera, María Reyes A1 Salmerón Revuelta, Patricio A1 Rodríguez Vázquez, Jesús A1 Pérez Litrán, Salvador AB The control strategy derived from the instantaneousreactive power theory is one of the most commonly used in theActive Power Filters (APFs). For the last decades otherformulations have been developed in order to achievecompensation objectives different to the proposed in the originalone. Nevertheless, all of them can be only applied to three-phasesystems, i. e.: in those formulations frameworks, they can not beused to obtain the control strategy for a polyphase system. Thispaper presents a new approach which can be applied to n wiresystems. The powers and currents expressions derived from theformulations presented up now can be obtain applying this newapproach. In this paper, the original p-q and the modified p-qformulation expressions are obtain in the new approachframework.
