T1 Cinema and history in Lebanon from a genders view : where are we going?

AB Inmersos en un mundo donde predomina la imagen es necesarioreflexionar sobre las repercusiones que ella tiene en la percepciónde nuestro pasado. Los productos visuales crean significados a partir delimaginario que construyen. No obstante lo cual, el film, imagen o no de larealidad, documento o ficción, intriga naturalista o pura fantasía, es historia.Se observa, no sólo como obra de arte sino también como un producto, unaimagen objeto cuya significación va más allá de lo puramente cinematográfico;de acuerdo a Marc Ferro2, no cuenta sólo por aquello que atestigua,sino por el acercamiento socio-histórico que permite. Es, por lo tanto, unelemento que no podemos despreciar a la hora de emprender un análisis.El film seleccionado se titula Et maintenant, on va où? –¿Hacia dónde vamos?–(Nadine Labaki, 2011). Conduciremos nuestro análisis, desde unaperspectiva de género, destacando las condiciones desiguales de poderentre mujeres y hombres así como su representatividad. Destacándose,no sólo desde el análisis interno al film sino también, referente al contextosocio-histórico de Líbano, considerándose como producto de un sistema derelaciones de poder y tensiones históricas que deberán deconstruirse parauna mayor comprensión.
AB Immersed in a world where the predominant image is necessaryto reflect on the impact that it has on the perception of our past. The visualproducts create meaning from the imaginary building. Notwithstanding this,the film, image or not of reality, document or fiction, naturalist intrigue or pure fantasy, is history. It is seen notonly as art but as a product, an imageobject whose significance goes beyondthe purely cinematic; accordingto Marc Ferro, not only for what it haswitnessed, but by the socio-historicalapproach allowed. It is, therefore, anelement that can not despise whenundertaking an analysis. The selectedfilm is titled Et maintenant, on vaoù? (Nadine Labaki, 2011). Conductour analysis from a gender perspective,highlighting the uneven powerbetween women and men and theirrepresentativeness. Standing not onlyfrom the internal analysis to film butalso concerning the Lebanon sociohistorical context, considering it as aproduct of a power relations systemand historical tensions to be deconstructedfor a greater understandingcomprehension.
