RT Journal Article T1 Quadrupole phonons in the cadmium isotopes A1 Leviatan, A. A1 Gavrielov, N. A1 García Ramos, José Enrique A1 Van Isacker, P. AB A key question concerning the spherical-vibrator attributes of states in cadmium isotopes is addressed by means of a boson Hamiltonian encompassing U(5) partial dynamical symmetry. The U(5) symmetry is preserved in a segment of the spectrum and is broken in particular nonyrast states, and the resulting mixing with the intruder states is small. The vibrational character is thus maintained in the majority of low-lying normal states as observed in Cd110 PB American Physical Society SN 2469-9985 SN 2469-9993 electrónico YR 2018 FD 2018 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/16061 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/16061 LA eng NO Leviatan, A., Gavrielov, N., García-Ramos, J.
