T1 Cambios y permanencias en la cultura andaluza en el último tercio del siglo XX : breves apuntes para un ensayo

AB En el último tercio del siglo XX se han producido en Andalucía cambios sociales y culturales que pueden calificarse de revolucionarios. La sociedad andaluza toma conciencia de su identidad y singularidad sin romper con los demás pueblos de España, ahonda en sus manifestaciones culturales específicas, impulsa los comportamientos festivo-religiosos y progresa en la secularización. La dicotomía rural-urbano ha perdido sentido. El derecho a la salud, la educación y los servicios sociales se consideran inalienables y la mujer ha alcanzado la equiparación jurídica, social y cultural. La familia se ha nucleado en torno a padres e hijos, la autoridad paterna se diluye, y el matrimonio civil se equipara al religioso.
AB In the last third of the 20th century, Andalusia experienced social and cultural changes which can be called revolutionary. Andalusian society developed a heightened consciousness own identity and uniqueness. Without breaking with rest of Spain, Andalusians enhanced manifestations of their regional culture by supporting ceremonial and religious activities. They also speeded up secularization. The rural-urban dichotomy began to lose salience. Regional authorities also promoted universal access to health care and education and to social services which are now regarded as inalienable rights. Women now enjoy equal status with men both in law as in social and cultural affairs. Family structure became more nuclear: parents and children only. Paternal authority diminished, civil marriage caught up the religious marriage in popularity.
