AB Biotites from cortlanditic rocks of the Sierra de Gredos (Central System) were analyzed with the microprobe. The first results of this study are presented here. AB Presentación de los primeros resultados del análisis con microsonda de las biotitas de las cortlanditas de la Sierra de Gredos (Sistema Central). Estos incluyen una breve discusión sobre la sustitución acoplada dominante como método para calcular el hierro férrico en las moléculas. Las micas estudiadas son flogopitas en las que las sustituciones catiónicas se ven dominadas por Ti y Al.
