AB We show a CIS (Arc-Info) methodology, and the guidelines to build alpha-graphic data bases, which have been used in this project. The main result was to obtain a Map of Suitable Areas, in which different aspects are considered as: i) the resource exists, ii) the resource has a minimum quality and Hi) territorial planning constraints.Therefore, the resultant map (similar to a resource map) is obtained by the intersection of the following maps: Map of Lithotectums, Map of the Areas with Potential Interest and Map of the Territorial Planning.
