T1 Tradición clásica en Epigramas de Ernesto Cardenal

AB Este artículo estudia cómo la traducción de Catulo y Marcial hecha porErnesto Cardenal preparó el terreno para la creación de sus .Epigramas y cómoalgunos de estos imitan a los citados poetas clásicos incorporando comointertextos las versiones que su autor había hecho de ellos. Junto a Catulo,también es importante en los epigramas amorosos la presencia de temas dePropercio, recreados con originalidad en el conciso marco del género. Lacontribución de Marcial, en cambio, es más programática y técnica quetemática.___________________________________This article studies how Ernesto Cardenal's translation of Catullus andMartial prepared the way for the creation of his Epigramas and how some ofthese imitated the citated classical poets, incorporating as intertexts the versionsthat their author had made of them. Together with Catullus, the presence ofthemes from Propertius, recreated with originality in the concise setting of thegenre, is also important in his love epigrams. Martial's contribution, however, ismore programmatic and technical than thematic.
