T1 Por una pedagogía de los medios : la prensa

AB Los cambios que se están produciendo en la forma en que se transmite la información están afectandoa los medios de comunicación. Tal circunstancia ha puesto de manifiesto una brecha de conocimientoque los medios deben tratar de cubrir, principalmente por la versatilidad que aquéllos pueden otorgar.El presente artículo pretende ser, por un lado, un recordatorio de los posicionamientos teóricos quesustentan el trabajo pedagógico con y a través de los medios de comunicación en general y con la prensaen particular y por otro, una vuelta de tuerca a la aplicación pedagógica que a la prensa se le está o puedeotorgar. Los cambios sociales y tecnológicos, sobre todo la aparición de la red Internet, han afectado a laprensa de forma directa obligándola a modificar o rediseñar su filosofía de trabajo, por lo que para queesta nueva forma de entender la prensa tenga cabida en el momento social que vivimos se hace necesariorevisar y reformular las teorías o posicionamientos teóricos en los que se sustenta, con el objetivo de darleuna nueva luz. El presente artículo trata pues de realizar esto desde una perspectiva abierta, tratando deproponer un posicionamiento acorde con el momento teórico del momento.
AB The changes that are occurring in how information is transmitted are affecting the mass media in general.This circumstance has revealed a knowledge gap that the media should try to cover mainly because of theversatility that they can be awarded. This article intends to be on the one hand a reminder of the theoreticalpositions that underpin the pedagogical work with and through the media in general and the press inparticular and the other a twist to the pedagogical application to the press is being or can grant. The socialand technological changes, especially the emergence of the Internet, has affected the press directly forcingit to modify or redesign its philosophy of work, so that for this new way of understanding the media hasa place in the time we live in social need to review and reformulate theories or theoretical positions thatunderpin, with the aim of giving a new light. This article is therefore to do this from an open perspective,trying to propose a position consistent with the theoretical moment of time.
