AB This work reports the finding of layers of zircon-bearing chlorite schists in the southwestern part of theSierra Bermeja peridotites, the biggest massif of the Ronda peridotites (Alpujarride Complex, Betic Cordillera,southern Spain). Structural, petrographic and geochemical data support a metasomatic origin for theserocks, at temperature conditions of 280-350 ºC, related to the serpentinization of the peridotites and therodingitization of the granite dykes of the Ronda peridotites
