T1 Paráfrasis homéricas en papiros, tablillas y óstraka

AB Entre el abundante material exegético deltexto homérico que los papiros y otros tiposde soporte escriturario transmiten, reflejode aquellos papiros que en muchísimomayor número transmiten porciones delpropio texto, un lugar muy significativoocupan las paráfrasis o versiones homéricasen prosa de su propia época, distintasde los llamados scholia minora y de lashypotheseis, y de las cuales se echaba enfalta un estudio de conjunto. Las muestrasaquí reunidas se distribuyen a lo largo deun lapso de tiempo que va al menos del s.I al VI-VII d. C., ilustran los diversos métodosde la paráfrasis llamada gramatical(versión a partir de glosas) y de la paráfrasisde tipo retorizante, unas y otras muestraspertenecen en gran parte al ámbito escolaro bien están destinadas a un público másamplio, y adoptan distintas modalidades deejecución y distintos formatos en su afánde hacer llegar el texto del poeta por excelenciaa lectores cada vez menos eruditos.
AB Among the abundant exegetic material onthe Homeric text which has been transmittedon papyri and similar materials–a reflection of those which in a considerablyhigher number convey Homeric passages–paraphrases or prose versions of theHomeric text take a very significant place.This is a different genre from the so-calledscholia minora or the hypotheseis, and ithas not yet been comprehensively studied.The items which I gather here range atleast from the first to the seventh centuryAD and illustrate different methods of theso-called grammatical paraphrasis (takingglossae as its starting point) and the rhetoricalparaphrasis, both closely related to theschool or aimed at a wider public. Differentforms and patterns are chosen to bringthe text of the poet par excellence closer toreaders who are less and less learned as timepasses by.
