RT Journal Article T1 Educommunication and ICT: from a corpus to a model of educational intervention for critical attitude A1 Mateus De Oro, Cirit A1 Jabba Molinares, Daladier A1 Erazo Coronado, Ana María A1 Aguaded, José Ignacio A1 Campis Carrillo, Rodrigo Mario AB This article proposes an educational intervention model fromEducommunication, integrating communication, pedagogy, informationtechnologies and human development principles. The methods usedincluded, first, an exploratory and quantitative procedure to identify thetheoretical foundations of Educommunication and critical attitudes. Thena qualitative procedure was carried out to analyse the reference texts. Thisresulted in an ad hoc objective corpus that allowed the integration of themain strands of Educommunication and provided epistemic support forthe model. The development of the corpus also led to the identification ofthe field’s advances, thus creating theoretical constructs based on thequestion of how to promote critical attitudes through Educommunication. The model highlights the link between education and ICT developmentand aims to promote critical attitudes through seven dimensions: medialiteracy and communication, relationship with others, hypertext, curricularaspects, technology use, methodology and learning objectives.
