AB The number of carbonate megaturbidites and related deposits in the Urrobi-Ultzama area, west part of the South-pyrenean Eocene basin, is greater than was hitherto realized. Planktonic foraminifera analyses also demonstrate that their ages are somewhat older than were previously believed.Paleocurrent measurements and other evidences finally reinforce a southern derivation for these largescale resedimented deposits
