T1 ¿Tenemos la televisión que nos merecemos?

AB Tras contar un caso real sucedido en Granada, el autor de esta colaboración expone la necesidad de que, al menos, las cadenas públicas ejerzan una labor educativa y de información-formación, que supere las posturas maximalistas de quienes consideran exclusivamente a la televisión como un medio de evasión y aquellos otros que optan por asignarle sólo el rol de la elevación cultural de la sociedad. En definitiva, se propone en esta reflexión la trascendencia social de la televisión como medio que ha de cumplir misiones de entretenimiento, información y educación.
AB After telling a real case which took place in Granada, the author of this contribution exhibits the need for, at least, public television channels to apply an educational work and a work of information-training, which leads the maximalist stances of those who exclusively consider television as the means of evasion and those who choose to assign it only the role of cultural rise of the society. In conclusion, the author suggests in this reflection the social significance of the television as a medium which has to achieve missions of entertainment, information and education.
