T1 Systematic Review of Interventions in Racism andXenophobia

AB Ante la necesidad de dar respuesta a un problemamundial como es el racismo y la xenofobia, serevisan intervenciones psicosociales y psicoeducativasque aporten solución al problema. Esta revisiónsistemática tiene por objetivo examinar el estado actualde la investigación empírica en intervencionesen el área del racismo y la xenofobia. Se realizó unabúsqueda sistemática en la literatura científica entre1990 y febrero de 2020 en varias bases de datos (ERIC,APA PsycInfo, MEDLINE y Psychology and BehavioralSciences) de las que se obtuvieron 1.004 artículos.Después de aplicar los criterios de inclusión y exclusión,los artículos se redujeron a 8. Se analizaron losprincipales temas y líneas de actuación, así como losbeneficios percibidos por los participantes tras concluirla intervención. Se enfatiza la necesidad de seguirinterviniendo e investigando con muestras mayoresy en diferentes contextos
AB It is necessary to respond to a global problem suchas racism and xenophobia. Psychosocial and psychoeducationalinterventions were reviewed to solve theproblem. Some benefits could be identified in thepopulation. This systematic review aimed to examinethe current state of empirical research between 1990and February 2020 in several databases (ERIC, APA,PsycInfo, MEDLINE y Psychology and Behavioral Sciences)from which 1.004 articles extracted. After applyingthe inclusion and exclusión criteria, the selectedarticles were reduced to 8. Analyzing the articlesand their main themes as well as lines of action andbenefits received by the participants after the endof the intervention. It is so important to continue tointervine and investigate with more participants anddifferent areas
