AB We present the results of palynologycal analyses carried out both in a core obtained from a depositlocated in Sierra de Guadarrama (Madrid), and modern pollen data from one transect across TollaCollado de El Berrueco-El Berrueco. The comparison between these data sets shows that the pollenspectra faithfully reflect the current taxa in the study area. In addition, these results have permitted todistinguish several phases of the vegetation dynamic and human activity from the Late Holocene in ElBerrueco area, inferred from the development of anthropozoogenic taxa
