Yacimientos del Jurásico de Asturias T1 Sedimentary environments/ palaeoecologic significance and fossitization of dinosaur tracks Jurassic tracksites of Asturias (TV Spain) A1 Valenzuela, M. A1 García Ramos, José Carlos A1 Suárez de Centi, C. AB Upper Jurassic dinosaur tracks of Asturias (N Spain) are confined to the La Nora, Vega, Terehes and Lastres Formations. The Jurassic record of this area indicates the occurrence of large and diverse populations including theropod, sauropod and ornithopod tracks. The highest concentrations are located in muddy coastal plain, lagoon margin and deltaic environments (Terehes and Lastres Fms.J, most specially in channel related deposits: channel abandonment, channel margin (levee) and crevasse-splay facies. Semi-arid fluvial environments (Vega Fm.) provides a smaller number of tracks, most of them related also to channelized sandstone bodies. Sauropod footprints are comparatively scarce here PB Sociedad Geológica de España YR 1992 FD 1992 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10272/16321 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10272/16321 LA spa DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Huelva RD 30 may 2026
