AB Debido al desarrollo tecnológico y a la expansión del uso de aplicaciones móviles en el entorno cotidiano de los estudiantes, es necesario atender a las posibilidades de los videojuegos en la enseñanza de la historia y de las ciencias sociales. Para ello, se analizan las posibilidades de uso en el aula centrando la atención en los juegos Civilization VI y Stardew Valley; concluyendo que se observan grandes posibilidades para la enseñanza de la historia y de las ciencias sociales en ambos casos y en relación con contenidos concretos del área, la resolución de problemas, planificación, toma de decisiones, desarrollo de habilidades sociales, atención, motivación y reflexión.
AB Due to the technological development and the expansion of the use of mobile applications in the daily environment of the students, it is necessary to attend to the possibilities of videogames in the teaching of history and social sciences. For this, the possibilities in the classroom are analyzed focusing on the games Civilization VI and Stardew Valley; concluding that there are great possibilities for the teaching of history and social sciences in both cases and in relation to specific contents of the area, problem solving, planning, decision making, development of social skills, attention, motivation and reflection.
