T1 Electricity microgeneration in pressure hydraulic networks

AB The aim of this study is to analyze andevaluate the installation of microturbinesplaced at selected points of waterdistribution systems to generating electricity fromexcess and unused hydraulic energy. In order toachieve this objective, we have considered somealternatives to installation in hydraulic pressurizednetworks of two municipalities in the province ofHuelva: Cañaveral de León and Aracena. These waterdistribution systems are managed by the publiccompany Giahsa. An economic feasibility analysis ofthe proposed installation alternatives as well as aproposal for amortization of the investment wereshown in this work.
