T1 Quality criteria for the valuation and managementof MOOC

AB Dado el efecto inmediato de la influencia y uso de los MOOC, las institucionesde educación vinculadas directamente con la investigación y generación delconocimiento han abierto un nuevo campo de estudio. A raíz de este suceso, explosivoy descontrolado, surge la duda en torno a si estos cursos y plataformas educativasposeen el sustento pedagógico adecuado que garantice la calidad y eficacia del usode estas herramientas en la generación de aprendizaje. El presente trabajo ha tenidocomo objetivo identificar los elementos claves que aseguran los índices de calidad yde la gestión de los MOOC. Los resultados demuestran, por un lado, que no existeuna normativa específica que permita garantizar la calidad del aprendizaje en losMOOC, a pesar de que existen normativas de e-learning, y que se está trabajandoactualmente por aunar criterios para la evaluación de este tipo de formación online y,por otro, la variedad existente de criterios y/o dimensiones, propuestas por teóricos,a tener en cuenta en la evaluación de la calidad de MOOC. En las conclusiones sedestacan como los esfuerzos sobre la calidad en los MOOC se están derivando máshacia el camino del marketing que hacia el diseño de una instrucción de aprendizajeadecuado y de calidad.
AB Due to the immediate effect of the influence and use of the MOOC, educationalinstitutions that are directly linked to research and knowledge generation haveopened a new field of study. Through this explosive and uncontrolled event, thequestion arises of whether or not these courses and educational platforms possessthe adequate pedagogic foundation that can guarantee the quality and efficient ofuse of these tools in learning. The objective of the present work is the identificationof key elements that assures the quality indexes and the management of MOOC.The results show that, on the one hand, there aren’t any specific norms that canallow us to guarantee learning using the MOOC, even though norms for e-learningplatforms already exist and criteria for the evaluation of this type of online educationare currently being evaluated and unified. On the other hand, there is variety oftheoretically proposed, existing criteria and or dimensions for the evaluation ofthe quality of the MOOC. In the conclusions we highlight how the current effortsin the measuring of quality of the MOOC have been diverting towards marketing asopposed to the design of adequate, high-quality teaching instruction.
