AB Este estudio se encuadra en el Plan Andaluz Sobre Drogas y es el resultado de un convenio decolaboración entre la Junta de Andalucía, a través de la Consejería para la Igualdad y BienestarSocial, y la Universidad de Huelva. El objetivo del presente estudio es analizar el nivel de consumode cannabis en estudiantes universitarios, los motivos de su consumo y su relación conhábitos de estudio, empleo del tiempo libre y consumo de otras sustancias. Se trata de un estudiodescriptivo y transversal realizado en el curso 2007-2008 en la Universidad de Huelva conuna muestra configurada por 1200 estudiantes. Se utilizó un cuestionario autoadministrado.Para el análisis de las relaciones entre variables se utilizó el test de chi-cuadrado de Pearson.Se concluye que el género, la asistencia a la Universidad y el consumo de drogas están relacionadoscon el consumo de cannabis.
AB This study is part of the Andalusian Plan on Drugs and is the result of a collaboration agreementbetween the Government of Andalusia, through the Ministry for Equality and Social Welfare,and the University of Huelva. The aim of this study is to analyze the level of cannabis use in universitystudents, the reasons for its consumption and its relation to study habits, use of leisure andconsumption of other substances. This is a descriptive cross-sectional study conducted in 2007-2008 at the University of Huelva with a sample set for 1200 students. We used a self-administeredquestionnaire. For the analysis of relations between variables using the chi-square test ofPearson. We conclude that gender, attendance at the university and drug use are related to cannabisuse.
