AB Es posible demostrar que la definición de oligarca es espuria. Tomando como base la concepción filosófica de oligarquía, retrata al oligarca cuando se ha hecho con el poder, mientras que Teofrasto lo describe cómicamente cuando no lo tiene. Su oligarca es un ciudadano retratado en situaciones ordinarias. Es el lenguaje político contemporáneo el que da la idea de μισοδημ en conexión con λιγρχικο. Este aspecto, aun no siendo el único presente, es importante para la comprensión de este carácter, aunque no está cubierto por la definición.
AB It is possible to demonstrate that the definition of oligarchy is false. Taking as the base the philosophical conception of oligarchy, it illustrates the oligarch when he already has the power, meanwhile Teofrasto describes him in a humorous way at the moment when he is powerless. His oligarch is a citizen illustrated in daily situations. It is the contemporary politic language which brings up the idea of μισοδημ in relation to λιγρχικο. This aspect is important for the comprehension of this concept, even when it is not covered by the definition.
