AB Los learning management Systems son herramientas informáticas en la web quepermiten reunir diversos recursos que interactúan entre sí en un mismo lugar, con el fin de proveerun espacio para llevar a cabo un proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Como recurso innovador, loslearning management Systems se vislumbran como elementos cuyas posibilidades son susceptiblesde ser analizadas y valoradas. El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo identificar las tendencias eninvestigación sobre learning management Systems, a partir del metaanálisis de 22 tesis de maestría. de esta manera, se identificaron las temáticas abordadas por las investigaciones, así como losenfoques, paradigmas, diseños e instrumentos, el sistema, nivel de formación y población de losestudios, las principales plataformas estudiadas y los aportes de los estudios
