T1 Evaluación de programas de educación no formal : una propuesta etnográfica naturalista

AB En este artículo exponemos brevemente los fundamentos metodológicos de la investigación realizada con las asociaciones «Nueva Juventud de Trille» y «Nivel» (Cádiz, España). La reflexión inicial, sobre la consideración del ámbito de la educación no formal, sirve para situar un término que es útil para reconocer el espacio de desenvolvimiento de gran parte de los fenómenos que interesan a la educación social. La novedad de este planteamiento está en haber resuelto una evaluación de programas, a pesar de la complejidad estructural de estas experiencias. La solución ha sido una propuesta ecléctica aunque orientada por los llamados «modelos de evaluación naturalista». El enfoque, previo a la evaluación propiamente, requirió de un estudio etnográfico descriptivo e interpretativo.
AB In this article, we briefly expose the methodological fundaments of the investigation carried out with the associations “Nueva Juventud de Trille” and “Nivel” (Cadiz, Spain). The initial reflection about the consideration of the field of non-formal education serves to situate a term which is useful to recognize the space of unfolding of big part of phenomena which are of interest of social education. The innovation of this approach is the fact of having solved an evaluation of programmes despite the structural complexity of these experiences. The solution has been an eclectic proposal, although it has been oriented by the so called “naturalist evaluation models”. The focus, previous to the evaluation, required a descriptive and interpretative ethnographic study.
