Groundwater flows from the Llevant Ranges to the center of the aquifer and to the sea. Vertical registers of temperature and electrical conductivity logs has allowed to recognize a marine wedge, up to 8.5 km into the land. Brackish water exists in a 3 km belt parallel to the coastline. The rest of the aquifer has good quality fresh water}, publisher = {Sociedad Geológica de España}, title = {Estudio hidrogeolögico de la zona de Sa Marineta (Isla de Mallorca)}, title = {Hydrogeological study of Sa Marineta area (Mallorca island)}, author = {Gelabert, B. and Rodríguez Perea, A.}, }
