AB The manuscript 332/148 preserved in the Library of the Universityof Seville, copied in round Humanistic script, belongs to the pen of anillustrious resident of the city, Alfonso de Palencia, who copied it for Per Afánde Ribera (died in 1487) possibly between 1453 and 1458. This paper analyzesthe identification of this writing, established thanks to the Palencia’s autographmanuscript from El Escorial, S-III-14 (ff. 58r-118r), also illuminated and copiedin Seville, and others manuscripts of this author, including the cases of Seville inthe context of the Humanistic script codices made by castilians during the fifteenth century.

NO El manuscrito 332/148 de la Biblioteca de la Universidad de Sevilla,copiado en escritura humanística redonda, pertenece a la pluma de un ilustrevecino de la ciudad, Alfonso de Palencia, quien lo copió para Per Afán de Ribera(m. 1487) posiblemente entre 1453 y 1458. En este trabajo se analiza la identificaciónde la escritura, establecida gracias a la comparación con el volumen autógrafodel palentino que es el escurialense S-III-14 (ff. 58r-118r), iluminado en Sevillay seguramente también copiado en la ciudad, así como con otros manuscritos delmismo autor, insertando los casos hispalenses en el contexto de los códices enescritura humanística hechos por castellanos durante el siglo XV.
