AB En este artículo se presentan los resultados de un proyecto de investigación de tecno- logía educativa cuyo objetivo fue estudiar e investigar el papel del video educativo como producciónescolar de los alumnos en su desempeño académico, utilizando las nuevas herramientas disponiblesa través de dispositivos digitales y aplicando las nuevas Tecnología de la Información yComunicaciones (TIC). El proyecto fue auspiciado por el Tecnológico de Monterrey y la Maestríaen Tecnología Educativa de la Escuela de graduados en Educación (EgE). La investigación se rea- lizó con alumnos de nivel de educación media básica (secundaria) del Colegio San felipe, enMonterrey, nuevo León, México, durante el ciclo escolar septiembre 2012 – julio 2013. El principalobjetivo fue detectar si la creación de videos educativos influye directamente en los aprendizajes sig- nificativos de los alumnos de esta institución, a través de la producción de videos educativos abiertos, concebidos estos videos como recursos educativos abiertos (REA)
AB In this paper the results of a research project whose aim was educational technologystudy and investigate the role of education as a school video production of students in their academicperformance are presented, using the new tools available through digital devices and applying newInformation Technology and Communications (ICT). The project was sponsored by theTecnológico de Monterrey and the Masters in Educational Technology graduate School ofEducation (EgE). The research was conducted with students of primary and secondary educationlevel (high school) College of San felipe, in Monterrey, nuevo Leon, Mexico, during the school yearin September 2012 - July 2013. The main objective was to detect whether the creation of educa- tional videos influences directly meaningful learning of the students of this institution, through theproduction of educational videos open, conceived these videos as open educational resources(OER)
