AB En el marco de la Historia de la Iglesia,campo actualmente bastante desplazado delas últimas tendencias historiográficas, trasuna introducción en la que se resumen lostipos más destacados del documento conocidocomo “bula”, presentamos aquí variosejemplares del mismo, que recopilan una seriede hitos sobre la historia eclesiástica de Huelva,permitiendo así visualizar la evolución del cultoy la devoción popular en la ciudad onubensey su diócesis. El más antiguo, de 1516, revelauna autorización de misas en diversas ermitassituadas en el término; y en el siglo XX otrasbulas promulgan la creación de la diócesisde Huelva en 1953, y el nombramiento de laVirgen de la Cinta como patrona de la capitalonubense en 1964
AB Within the framework of the History ofthe Church, a field that is currently displacedfrom the latest historiographic trends, afteran introduction resuming the most importanttypes of the document known as “bula”, wepresent several examples of this document,which compilates a list of milestones on theecclesiastical history of Huelva that allows us tovisualize the evolution of the cult in the Huelvaprovince, through the analysis of three pontificaldocuments. The oldest one, from 1516, revealsan authorization for masses in various hermitageslocated in Huelva; and in the 20th century, one ofthe two remaining bulls proclaims the foundationof the diocese of Huelva in 1953; and the otherone, the appointment of the patron figure of thecity of Huelva, the “Virgen de la Cinta”, in 1964
